Insights for Breakfast at Alfa Laval

This November, the last Insights For Breakfast session of the year brought together international students, spouses and professionals to connect, network and inspire across cultures and industries.

Per Lund Hansen, Managing Director at Alfa Laval delivered an inspiring presentation on how Alfa Laval´s products and technologies help address climate challenges across core business areas such as wastewater, energy, and more. Per Lund Hansen also highlighted how Alfa Laval accelerates the development of new, sustainable businesses through partnerships. One example is the Alfa Laval Innovation House, which hosts startups and creates unique opportunities for collaboration.

Raquel Herndon, Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Alfa Laval, spoke about Alfa Laval´s culture, noting that 49% of the employees are international – making the workplace truly diverse. A strong culture of inclusion has been built through activities such as sports events, women´s network, and seasonal activities.

These were some of the key recommendations shared during the panel discussion with three of Alfa Laval´s international professionals; Luis Marchal, Pravin Sonawane, and Pantea Farahbakhsh. They offered personal insights and valuable perspectives to an engaged audience who actively contributed to the conversation.

Lone Jacobsen, Business Consultant from Gladsaxe Erhvervsby – et partnerskab for bæredygtig vækst og livskvalitet and Gladsaxe Kommune, stressed the importance of supporting the international employees and residents to feel truly welcome and inspired to stay longer – this requires close collaboration with local companies and neighboring municipalities to create meaningful events.
